The Nelson office of Thompson Daly & Co, operates from Hardy Street, with six chartered accountants and five support staff.
The Richmond Office consists of five staff and offers a diverse range of professional skills and expertise. We are committed to keeping ourselves up to date with the latest training in order to meet your personal and business financial needs.
Wayne Anderson

In his 25 years as a chartered accountant, Wayne has worked with small and medium sized businesses as well as large corporates. He has experienced many different aspects of the local and global financial markets over the years, having worked for large financial organisations such as Price Waterhouse Coopers and Tate Communications. This experience enables him to provide his clients with knowledgeable financial advice and good business systems.

Wayne’s clients come from a wide range of fields including the horticulture, contracting, engineering and professional industries. He also has an interest in Family Trusts including protecting assets and efficient tax allocation.
Wayne prides himself on being approachable and available at any time and he has genuine concern for his clients.
Outside of work, Wayne likes spending time with his wife and three sons and has always been a very active member of the sporting community. In particular, he has enjoyed a 15year career as a New Zealand Touch Rugby Representative and is President of the Nelson Touch Association. He is also involved in the sport as a coach for the Nelson and Tasman under 17’s and Tasman open touch teams. He is Treasurer of Tasman Athletics and also plays and coaches soccer. He believes being a successful coach requires a high level of commitment, an organised approach and a good game plan; you can always expect this from Wayne both on and off the field.

Kadie James

Kadie, a Murchison native, is considered the ‘backbone’ of the office and organises the smooth completion of all the behind the scenes accountancy work. She started with the company nearly ten years ago as an office junior and has worked her way up to an Accountant. In addition to her busy role she is also studying for her Chartered Accountancy qualifications part-time.

As a collective group, she believes that Thompson Daly has a wealth of knowledge to help grow and develop older well-established businesses as well as younger companies. Kadie looks after general accounts, GST and works closely with a variety of clients in the forestry, horticulture and subdivision sectors.
Kadie is involved within the local community and each rugby season volunteers her time to the Murchison Rugby Club, catering for the club and its visitors.
In between her studies and job at Thompson Daly, Kadie enjoys working on home decoration and garden projects. She has a passion for food and fresh local ingredients and loves to cook for friends and family, it is well worth ensuring any appointments booked at the Richmond office coincide with baking day!
